I don’t currently have internet access at home so I haven’t been updating much. My bad. I’m participating in a few holiday shows and whatnot so here’s the low-down:

Cactus Gallery’s 4th Annual Tiny Treasures show is going on right now. It’s the perfect place to holiday shop for affordable original art.

This Friday (12/18) The Hear Gallery & Automatico are having their HOLIDAY HEROES food and toy drive at Senor Fish in Little Tokyo. I don’t know which other artists are participating, but I expect to see a lot of good stuff there. I’m updating from work and Facebook so blocked so I can’t get to a flyer, but I’ll post a flyer ASAP!

The event that I’m most excited about is the NYE shin dig that Hear Gallery, Automatico and Blow Up LA are putting together.

This Saturday (1/10) I’ll be heading out to Eagle Rock for the opening of Cactus Gallery’s new show, Bird Is The Word.

I lagged and got involved too late to make it onto the flyer. Sometimes that’s how I roll.

Cactus Gallery is one of the galleries participating in NELA’s Second Saturday Gallery Night so be sure to check out the other spots that are also involved.

Saturday I stopped in at Cactus Gallery in lovely Eagle Rock, CA for my first group show there. It was a rad experience. I don’t know where the pizza that was there came from, but it was rad. Seriously. Best pizza ever. I must find out where it came from.

Anyway, there was a bunch of rad art there and it was all way reasonably priced. So much so that even I was able to afford a rad piece.  I just tried to insert a picture of what I picked up, but I’m having some trouble with that right now. Until then, here’s a picture of it from the artist; Damon O’Keefe’s blog. This dude’s blog is a good time. Take a look.

After stopping in at Cactus my homie Hector and I took of to Casita del Pueblo for the show over there. We got there a little late but still had a rad time and saw some more Dia De Los Muertos inspired pieces.

UPDATE: It was brought to my attention that I use the word “rad” way too much. I will try to correct that.

Saturday, October 11th is going to be pretty nuts. I have work featured in two shows and I plan on going to both openings. I predict a night of good times.
