Events
Saturday, August 1st – 3 Shows, 1 Day
I’ll say “yes” to participating in any art-related event, even if it means that I’ll be double-booked. Something like that isn’t a big deal because it usually means that I have two openings or whatever to hit in the same night instead of just one event. This time I’m triple-booked. One of the events that I booked happens to be the opening of my own show.
Here’s the rundown:
Some older pieces are on display at Al Borde’s Acoustic sessions. I probably shouldn’t have committed to spreading myself so thing on the same night that I’m likely to be stressed out to-the-max with my show, but my homie Chatismo has been curating the art portion of the Al Borde shows and I’ve wanted to be involved since he started a few months ago. Fortunately, the Al Borde event is a two-part event so I’ll be able to hang out at part one before heading over my show.

Geeks, a shop in Uptown Whittier that specializes in graphic novels, action figures and role playing games, will be hosting my solo show featuring 12 or 13 mostly new pieces. There’ll be booze, and food there and it promises to be good times.

Lastly, after my show I’ll be heading to Downtown L.A. for the 2rd installment of The Hear Gallery’s Summer Voyage trilogy where I’ll be showing 3 or 4 pieces and drinking a lot.
